Behind The Ink

I believe that poems are a form of expression, a language that deepens life’s simplest things. When one picks up a pen and writes away, it expresses all forms of emotions onto paper, through the ink, the handwriting, the mistakes, even the condition of the paper. Every aspect of a handwritten expression can help oneself imagine what the writer was feeling while writing it, where exactly did that work come from. Emotions motivate one to do many things, for instance, it drives me to write. This is why I named my blog, ‘The Ink of Ikaa’.
